3. The US and Neocolonialism.

I cannot understand why America wants to control other nations such as Puerto Rico, Philippines, Iraq, Hawaii, etc. America started as a colony of England, so it experienced the unjust suffering of colonialism. Americans fought for independence from England, and after freedom, America quickly developed their economy and became a strong country. But now, the USA is the largest neocolonialist country in the world, controlling influencing other countries' economies and governments. The USA should look at their history and remember their Declaration of Independence, and follow those words.
